Our mission
The mission of the Union County Anti-Drug Coalition is to support an overall safe community by providing information, education and support services to children, teens and adults in the community towards prevention of use of illegal drugs and the illegal use of prescription pills.
Our message
Drugs: Be Smart, Don’t Start
The community
The community must unite behind the consistent message that use and abuse of illegal drugs and the illegal use of prescription pills is wrong and harmful. A Collaborative Board consisting of an unlimited numbers of individuals from the community meets three or four times a year. Their function is to receive information about the organization’s activities, to become up-to-date on the overall drug situation in the county, and to provide suggestions on how the organization can more fully fulfill its mission. Volunteers are used to help with activities of the UCADC.
